Opening Stock

    Opening Stock

Opening Stock:Opening stock refers to the inventory of goods a company has on hand at the beginning of its fiscal year. This figure is important because it sets the baseline for measuring inventory levels throughout the year. If opening stock levels are too low, it could lead to production disruptions or missed sales opportunities. Conversely, if opening stock levels are too high, it could tie up too much working capital in inventory.
